High-value projects, careful buyers
Burlington buyers often spend months planning a renovation or rebuild. They look at portfolios, read reviews closely and shortlist two or three companies. Detailed project pages, strong photos and recent reviews that describe the work do more to win these jobs than anything else on your website.
What it takes to reach the Burlington map pack
In our October 2026 Hamilton Google Reviews Benchmark, we ran 10 contractor searches for Burlington, one per trade. The median contractor in Google's map pack top 3 had 44 Google reviews, and the middle half had between 32 and 69. That is more than the 35 across the Hamilton area as a whole, but well below the roughly 100 it takes in searches for Toronto itself.
It varied a lot by trade. Roofing was the most competitive, with one top-3 roofer above 400 reviews, while all three excavation contractors in the top 3 had 20 or fewer. And reviews were not everything: on Google Maps, the most-reviewed business made the top 3 in just 1 of the 10 Burlington searches.
A crowded market between Hamilton and the GTA
Burlington sits between two large markets, so contractors from Hamilton, Oakville and Mississauga all compete here. Pages built specifically for Burlington, with Burlington projects and the neighbourhoods you work in, help Google, buyers and AI assistants see you as a local choice rather than one of dozens.
Ranking across Halton
Many Burlington contractors also work in Oakville, Milton and Waterdown. We build a page for each area you want, track map rankings in each, and make sure your Google Business Profile service area matches where you actually take jobs.
